  • As the Business Intelligence
  • Reporting Advisor, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive systems and processes to identify and capture key property performance data and information. Through detailed data analysis and monthly reporting across all business units within the Property Services Group, you will facilitate high quality, valuable insights to improve operational business performance.


This role will see you balance data analytics and engaging with stakeholders, to understand the 'why' behind your reports and communicate this effectively to an executive team audience.

You will thrive when working independently and will proactively identify new ways to innovate and uplift the use of technology within the team.

To be successful in this position, you'll have as a minimum:

  • Significant demonstrable experience in preparing multi-disciplinary business intelligence and performance reports.-
  • Experience in developing dynamic performance, metric-based dashboards.-
  • Exceptional skills and experience utilising software packages, including PowerBi and Microsoft PPM (Project Online, Project Server, SharePoint and advanced Microsoft Excel).-
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and presenting on business performance metrics to an executive audience.
About the Group


Property Services Group is in the Operations Portfolio which is the services nucleus of RMIT and the focus for the development of the finance, people development, infrastructure and systems that provide administrative capacity to the University.


Property Services has approximately 100 staff and the responsibility to operate, maintain and enhance the buildings owned and leased by RMIT University, oversee construction projects and ensure the provision of physical facilities services.


The group has an operating budget more than $80M and prospective capital projects over $50M per annum for the next few years in Melbourne and Vietnam.

RMIT's built environment involves approximately 110 buildings in Melbourne spread across RMIT's campuses and sites.
