About the role

TAFE NSW is looking for an individual with current industry experience and knowledge in glass and glazing to join our team of Allied Timber Trade teachers on a permanent full-time basis at our Lidcombe Campus.


The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process.

The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

About You
To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the essential requirements:

  • Minimum of Certificate III in Glass and Glazing or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years postqualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously
  • Hold a Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent
  • To be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
