**Your role**

The Coronial Information & Support Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Coronial Information and Support Program (CISP) and for managing a team that provide information and support to a range of stakeholders including families throughout the coronial process.

The Coordinator coordinates complex cases and provides clinical supervision and support to staff on complex and special interest matters.

Due to the nature of the responsibilities of this role, an onsite presence is required.

As such requests for remote working arrangements are unfortunately not able to be accommodated.

**What you’ll do**
- You’ll manage the Coronial & Support Program Team including people management, mentoring, ongoing development and performance.
- Manage the family engagement processes, including providing information regarding coronial directions, explaining cause of death and legislative processes such as the issuing of coronial certificates, managing objections to autopsy decisions, any care or treatment concerns and recommending relevant services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in coronial processes and procedures through regular review of cases and experiences, including the review of facts, reports and hospital records.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery to people involved with the coronial jurisdiction in regional, rural and remote areas of NSW.

**What we’re looking for**
- Demonstrated understanding of the operations and processes of the NSW coronial system, Court and associated legal procedures and relevant legislation.
- Extensive experience in counselling people who have been traumatised, and experience dealing with traumatic grief and loss.

**What you need**

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Social Work that make you eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Work and/or the Psychology Board of Australia.
