For our Support Office located at Sydney International Airport we are looking for a Supply and Demand Specialist.

The Supply and Demand Specialist is responsible for achieving the purchasing and supply chain objectives in terms of delivery, performance, quality and costs.

The Supply and Demand Specialist will be reporting into the Supply & Demand Team Leader and overlooking the replenishment and days of inventory for their workbench.

Your new job includes

  • Achieve the purchasing and supply chain objectives in terms of delivery performance, inventory management and KPI across workbench costs and all aspects of purchasing.
  • Responsible for the optimal planning in SAP, implementation and continuous improvement of supply chain processes in close coordination with purchasing team
  • Preparation and analysis of supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) (supplier service level, stock levels, assortment efficiency, fulfilment rate, purchase value and Year Over Year Growth)
  • Assist with various project and process improvements
  • Ensuring compliance of the requirements for suppliers and freight forwarders for goods delivery in coordination with 3PL logistics
  • Supply chain meetings with suppliers for continuous optimization of the supply chain and logistics requirements
  • Provide and work closely with Supply Chain Managers and Buyers in developing inventories strategies on existing lines, new products and phase out of stock
What you should bring along

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Solid background in quality improvement and process audit
  • Competent in strategic and operational planning as well as controlling and coordinating all purchasing and supply chain activities
  • Capable of guaranteeing the success of the ordering process in SAP F&R (Forecast & Replenishment), in view of the demand forecast, stock level and shelflife of fresh products
  • Function as interface between Category Management, 3PL Logistics and Suppliers
  • Power query knowledge highly desirable
  • Solid skills in Excel, MS-Office, SAP/R3 (Retail) or similar ERP
