Located within Revenue Management we are seeking a Demand Forecasting Specialist to join our team.

This key role will see you accountable for maximising network revenue outcomes through optimal and accurate forecasts, with a large revenue responsibility.

This role is highly analytical and will work with many stakeholders across different route groups.

In addition, the position will require someone who has a curiosity around drivers for supply and demand and determining the best approach on how to react to the market and our competitors in a dynamic, fast-moving and highly competitive environment.

You'll have

  • Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Commerce, Aviation Management or another applied quantitative discipline and working knowledge of Statistics and forecasting techniques
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problemsolving skills and the ability to synthesize complex situations, formulate solution sets and present results in simple, understandable terms
  • Ability to Identify and execute revenue maximisation strategies, market optimisation and process improvement for allocated Origin and Destination network flows
  • Strategic approach to recognise and proactively adjust the forecast to changing passenger flows due to market events, economic impacts, schedule change, competitor action
  • An interest in optimisation problemsolving, economic game theory, elasticity, and consumer buying behaviour
  • Previous experience within an airline Revenue Management function or Financial Trading would be highly advantageous
