The Demand Planning Specialist - Devices is responsible for supporting the Demand Planning Manager on Mobile, Fixed, Device inventory for Post-paid/Pre-paid across Consumer and SME business units supporting TPG's 8 unique brands.

The role also supports demand planning of accessories and wearables with the Accessories team.


The role works closely with strategic partners and cross functional TPG business stakeholders supporting all day-to-day operational devices demand planning including mid/long-term inventory planning and cash flow management.

The role works cross-functionally within TPG across vertical business units, supporting device supply delivering best-in-market propositions and channel execution, all in pursuit of driving exceptional customer outcomes and sustainable growth for TPG.

  • Manage and support effective demand forecasting models aligned to demand patterns for Mobile, Fixed device product categories along with accessories and wearables.
  • Participate in S&OP meetings (Mobile Postpaid, Prepaid, SIM, Fixed, Accessories) to provide demand insights and recommendations, aligning sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Partners on inventory supply planning, lead times, constraints and supply improvements and play a role in device launch activities.
  • Monitor and analyse inventory levels to ensure optimal inventory turnover driving cash flow management targets aligned to 4 WOC mobile and 16 WOC Fixed targets.
  • Create inventory projections for management review.
  • Work closely with 3PL and internal supply chain logistics team for operational support.
  • Perform detailed analysis of TPG's performance with your partners versus the market (including trends in both domestic and international markets) to facilitate informed decision making and effective strategic planning.

Knowledge and experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Demand Planning, S&OP and Partner Management
  • Strong understanding of Telco mobility markets or similar fast paced market with product launch experience.
  • Advanced Data Analytics Skills
  • Expert in Excel. SQL experience would be a nice to have but not necessary.
  • Demand planning experience, forecasting and inventory control.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with strong written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail and ability to operate with cross functional teams in fast paced and dynamic environments with the ability to manage ongoing change.
  • Solid prioritization, time management and personal organization skills.
  • Ability to be flexible with both team based and autonomous working cycles.
