We're looking for an R&D Associate to join our R&D team to help us effectively use our brand's purpose, and win our fight focusing specifically on
AirWick and Finish

As an R&D Associate you will...

  • Lead and manage the operations / technical support for one or more categories in the ANZ business_
  • Direct the routine evaluation of existing commercial products plus NPD's, including performance and stability testing, and claim support, advertising and label support.
  • Assist in the implementation of global product initiatives with R&D Innovations teams locally and abroad.
  • Respond to consumer complaints and quality issues and legal inquiries concerning technical matters relating to products
  • Work with Supply to support production in our local and international factories.
  • Maintain good communications with Marketing, Supply, R&D Innovation, and Shared Services
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and execute laboratory work according to required safety and quality standards
  • Write reports documenting the various project activities and participate in periodic quality audits.

You'll succeed if you have...

  • Have experience at an Associate level (in R&D) and/or proven track record of successful technical projects, ideally in an FMCG.
  • Good understanding of the product development process from concept ideation to launch
  • Formulation knowledge and understanding of chemical interactions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work in a variety of teams as well as independently
  • Natural curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Good communication and project management skills
