Specifically, Senior Partnership Marketing Manager not boxed in by job title

As our Senior Partnership Marketing Manager, you will create impact by leading the end-to-end process for our partner-centric go-to-market strategy critical to the growth of the Small Business & Personal Banking division, from prospecting all the way through to successful launch of our partnerships in the market. This role is at the centre of ensuring consistency and brand alignment in alliances, as well as driving commercial success.

You will make an impact by;

  • Lead the end-to-end process from prospect, negotiation through to successful implementation of a partnership in the market, across a range of different partner types (marketing, product/ marketplace and distribution partnerships).
  • Research and identify potential partnerships and qualify leads, delivering insights that enable improvements and growth through better understanding of both our customers and our competitors, presenting back findings to senior Bank leadership to define partnership strategy.
  • Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of the AMP brand, as well as the platform and the associated benefits to better determine appropriate partners for the proposition.
  • Develop new commercial propositions that will allow AMP to have broad appeal to potential partners, negotiating contracts with partners to support revenue targets.
  • Directly collaborate with each partner on marketing strategy, PR and comms, product messaging and positioning, design and implementation and campaign performance data and reporting.
  • Regularly review and update partnership agreements and contracts, including seeking opportunities to enhance and expand partnerships and identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that may arise.
  • Provide regular updates on the progress and performance of partnerships to senior Bank leadership, sharing customer data and insights to evaluate partnership effectiveness.

What matters

  • Previous experience in partnership management and prior experience leading the end-to-end process on the partnership go-to-market strategy within the Digital Banking or FinTech Industry.
  • Competent understanding of the digital banking industry with a specific focus on BaaS, SaaS, Embedded Finance and Payment Services
  • Proven experience in identifying and developing new business and/or partnerships propositions using a reliable methodology
  • Proven experience of exceeding business development targets and securing strategic partnerships
  • Understanding and experience in payments, enterprise and technology sales
  • Understanding of the regulatory and compliance regime for Financial Services.
  • Understanding of digital marketing trends and emerging technologies and existing relationships in the industry that can be leveraged
  • Starting with the customer in mind
  • Being curious, always asking why, what and how
  • Playing as one team, making the Bank's goals our own.

And we're 110% in this together. So, you won't go it alone, but you will be called to muck in and play your part. This is no place to hide. We want your ideas to be heard and celebrated. It's about moving fast, working together and being transparent in everything we do.
