Team and Opportunity
The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for managing the marketing automation platforms (-products of Adobe Experience Cloud + as a secondary, SalesForce Marketing Cloud) to achieve strategic business objectives, covering programs for lead generation, nurture and conversion, member retention & business growth

  • Leading the Marketing Technology strategy, aggregate and conceive ideas for enhancing product performance and achieving OKRs by working with stakeholders across Marketing and Technology;
  • Acting as the domestic MarTech champion, CDP Business Owner, continuously enhancing the automation and personalisation capabilities, driving training and development, governance frameworks and key optimisation recommendations;
  • Upskill business capabilities, including crew training to deliver bestinclass marketing automation capabilities;
  • Provides support across the MarTech platforms and acts as the liaison between the business, IS teams and Adobe support teams, ensuring the system is operational and supportive of Marketing's priorities.
  • Build and develop the best practice use of marketing automation to mature our personalisation capabilities over time.

What will you do
Develop, maintain and optimise the use of Marketing Automation tools:

  • Conduct day-to-day management of Adobe Experience Cloud products, supported by Technology and other teams globally;
  • Develop deep understanding of the target user, the endtoend customer experience, the product vision, and success criteria for the Adobe product portfolio;
  • Builds and maintains a robust product backlog, with input from all relevant business units and stakeholders;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing automation governance, policies, and processes to capitalise on marketing data and intelligence aligned with accessibility and privacy legislation;
  • Manage stakeholders (internally for requirements, externally for marketing automation tools) and work MarTech Delivery Team to achieve desired outcomes.
Partner with the following to deliver on the Marketing Automation strategic roadmap for:

  • Marketing COEs and Performance Marketing team to understand requirements, including enhancements for build, new subscription, new features and training to upskill usage;
  • MarTech Delivery team to define and clarify requirements from marketing and business partners to develop solutions that can scale.
  • Support operational requirements for the marketing automation platform
  • Ensure analytics (website/tools) are used and the key metrics are identified and reported on;
  • Develop and rollout marketing automation training and development to upskill Crew on capabilities;
  • Develop governance frameworks and key optimisation recommendations for business stakeholders to follow and take up.
  • Work collaboratively with Performance Marketing, COEs (Insights & Analytics, Content & Editorial, CX, etc.) and Technology to troubleshoot issues with automations, data, as well as identify issues with campaign build and testing.
  • Support the Performance Marketing COE and respective Pod Marketing on key core Digital Marketing Projects
  • Facilitate setup and maintenance of omnichannel marketing campaigns through CDP
  • Create segments or audiences for ingestion into relevant activation platform(s)

  • SalesForce Marketing Cloud experience (not critical but preferred)
