About your new role


Reporting into the General Manager Controls, you will support in leading the property Controls Team, to implement the strategic direction and KPIs, optimise controls management performance and business operations.

Deliver robust controls management solutions, harnessing automation to drive an increase in the efficacy of the control framework and execution efficiencies.


You will lead, participate in the design, delivery and manage the controls library and register for the property, ensure maintenance of the register (including ongoing improvement and adherence to the Control Standard), the testing of controls on a risk-based approach and conduct frequent (on a risk weighted basis) Risk and Control Self Assessments and associated remediation actions.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Undergraduate degree in a legal, commercial, or business field.
  • Experience in advising and delivering solutions on control suitability for processes, including control design, implementation, and ongoing management.
  • Experience as a risk operations control, risk or compliance senior manager within a large organisation, complex, highly regulated organisation.
  • Ability to identify risks and pivot resources and delivery approach accordingly.
  • Strong understanding and experience in implementing business drivers for problem solving.
  • Demonstrated ability in developing effective relationships and managing and driving change.
  • Ability to manage and communicate with employees and promote positive employee relations.
