Your business:


The Technology division delivers the group's information technology and banking operation functions to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation.


Cyber Security protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.


Your new team:


This role will see you join the Privilege Access and User Monitoring Controls team, a part of the wider Cyber Identity and Protection Management Division.

The team is accountable for ensuring we have the right systems and controls in place to effectively govern and manage the identities of our workforce; ensuring our people are strongly authenticated, have the correct access needed for their role, and the most privileged actions are tightly controlled.


This includes:

  • Privileged Access Management and User Behaviour Analytics controls.
  • Data Classification.
  • Security design and governance controls.

Your impact and contribution:


You will work with a variety colleagues and stakeholders to scale and manage a behavioural analysis capability aligned to Identity Management.


You will also:

  • Working with the User Behaviour Analytics (UBA) Business Service Managers and other Business Unit stakeholders across the Group to ensure that internal anomalous behaviour is detected and associated remediation is performed to meet the control objectives.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement of internal irregular behaviour use cases and processes through the use of automation.
  • Ensuring the regular reporting of important control metrics to key stakeholder and risk groups.
  • Continuing the expansion of control coverage to ensure the controls are implemented across high risk business areas across the core Business Units and subsidiaries.
  • Managing the UBA capabilities including the product and product roadmaps to ensure relevant stakeholders (Cyber, Business Unit Chief Control Offices, and Privacy Enforceable Undertaking Program) understand the goals and requirements related to control deliverables.

This role is for someone with a background in data analysis, risk and or control management, one who is also an expert in assessing large volume of date while managing and mitigating risk.


You will bring:

  • Advanced business analysis skills and the ability to elicit business requirements and understand complex business IT processes essential.
  • Experience in working with large volumes of data and is proficient in MS Excel essential.
  • Experience in leadership, managing a small team.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), demonstrate initiative and the courage to speak up and drive improvements to reduce risk.
  • Ideally, you will have an understanding or experience of user behaviour analytics highly regarding but not essential.
