About the role


A new position due to growth, the Trainer & Assessor role at Activ reports to the
Program Lead and will deliver CHC43315 Certificate IV in Mental Health in both metro and regional locations.


A typical day in the role may look like

  • Deliver engaging training to promote student participation in facetoface and virtual settings
  • Manage the progression of each student through their enrolled course, providing timely feedback and support
  • Work within program guidelines to meet training and assessment standards
  • Contribute to the achievement of Activ Pathways commercial targets
  • Undertake professional development to ensure industry currency.
  • Flexibility to travel regionally
  • CHC43315 Certificate IV in Mental Health (or higher)
  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in TAE (with upgraded units TAELLN441 and TAEASS501) or TAE40116 Certificate IV or higher in Training and Assessment
  • Minimum 2 years experience in VET Training and Assessment and Mental Health
  • A passion for delivering innovative programs with a focus on learner outcomes
  • Excellent interpersonal and timemanagement skills
  • The ability to operate and adapt to new technology and systems of work
  • CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support and/or CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability (desirable).
  • National Police Clearance and/or NDIS worker screening check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
