Full Job Description
The Role and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the WH&S Manager, you will maintain, co-ordinate and provide support for the Queensland region of a strong national company of 900 employees
This will involve:
- Improving the culture of quality throughout the business
- Ensuring safe and correct work practices at all times
- Ensuring safe equipment and plant is provided and maintained
- Increasing site productivity through the implementation of WHS and QA procedures
- Engaging with personnel across all levels of the business to prioritise GMS activities
- Maintaining and improving Project Web, Aconex and site documentation control
- Assisting Project Managers to plan for quality, safety and environmental outcomes on
- Assisting with the implementation of Procore on all projects
- Ensuring efficient site material handling and logistics
- Assisting the WHS Manager in ensuring Subcontractors are compliant in the companies Rapid Induct System
- Streamlining work processes and increasing productivity
- Conducting incident investigations and assisting with Return to Work processes
- Preparing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and assist others in creating SWMS
What you require:
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Construction, Building or Building Services Industry
- Certification and/or training in all relevant WHS Safety and award Courses and Return To Work Training whilst not essential, would be desirable
