The Company

The Role
Ventia are currently seeking SHEQ Advisors who will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring and governance of SHEQ programs, systems and processes for the contract.
This role acts as the key interface between the SHEQ Manager and operational delivery.The responsibilities of the position include but not limited to:
- Implement the project Health and Safety objectives at Agency and site level
- Contribute to the development and execution of broader company strategies, initiatives, programs and leading Health and Safety practices
- Contribute to H&S objectives by setting a positive example and being a role model for the rest of the team
- Ensure Ventia SHEQ standards are incorporated into the workplace
Education and Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in WHS
Lead Investigator training
- ICAM
- Lead Auditor qualification
- Current Drivers License
Technical Competencies:
- Sound knowledge and understanding of legislation, standards and codes of practice
- Leading investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions
- Undertake audits to establish process implementation
Skills & Experience:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Communicating and consulting with a large contractor workforce
Demonstrated experience in a similar role and industry
