Looking to take your career to the next level? Look no further than Ventia's Rig and Well Services contract, which is seeking a Safety (SHEQ) Advisor to join our expanding team. You will play a pivotal role in assisting/ mentoring the onsite crew with the implementation of our health and safety management system. We're looking for an experienced professional with a passion for promoting safe and healthy working practices, and a keen eye for detail when it comes to identifying potential hazards and mitigating risk.

Your duties will include onsite assurance activities as well as detailed incident investigations and providing expert guidance to help ensure that our crew is always working to the highest safety standards. In this role, you will get to enjoy a great work-life balance with our even-time 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster, 12-hour shifts. (15:13 roster)  Flights are included from Adelaide airport to Roxby Downs (return).

Skills and experience

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Experience in a field-based safety advisor role.
  • Qualifications and experience in conducting and leading incident investigations –ICAM.
  • Understanding of safety risks and control processes.
  • Onsite training and assessment experience.
