About the Role:

Ventia is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to provide leadership, guidance, and support for compliance and operational excellence in quality assurance matters. This role is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and governing Group and Sector SHEQ programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, guide, and mentor SHEQ Quality Advisors within their designated area of responsibilities.
  • Coach and mentor operational personnel across the region in the development and application of Quality systems and processes, ensuring ongoing understanding and compliance with business requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and practical solutions to support project-based personnel in implementing quality and assurance management systems.
  • Partner with the SHEQ Manager to prepare annual Project Integrated Audit & Inspection Plan and maintain the Plan.
  • Schedule and conduct internal process audits and action tracking to ensure compliance with Ventia requirements and certifications/accreditations are maintained.
  • Provide advice on close-out of Corrective Action Reports (CARs).
  • Schedule and conduct supplier/subcontractor audits.

Requirements:

  • Integrated SHEQ Lead Auditor certification.
  • Diploma or Degree in OHS, science, engineering, or related discipline.

Technical Competencies:

  • Ability to implement SHEQ Objectives and Targets at project level.
  • Strong ability to articulate SHEQ strategy to operational leads.
  • Sound knowledge of root cause analysis tools (5 whys, Fishbone Diagram, etc.).
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
