About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety (SHEQ) Advisor to join our team at Ventia's Rig and Well Services contract. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting and mentoring the onsite crew with the implementation of our health and safety management system. Your passion for promoting safe and healthy working practices, combined with your keen eye for detail in identifying potential hazards and mitigating risk, will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Onsite assurance activities to ensure compliance with our health and safety management system
* Detailed incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
* Providing expert guidance to the onsite crew to ensure they are working to the highest safety standards

Requirements

* Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
* Experience in a field-based safety advisor role
* Qualifications and experience in conducting and leading incident investigations – ICAM
* Understanding of safety risks and control processes
* Onsite training and assessment experience
