Key Tasks
  • Responsibility for the regional clinical education program
  • Development and maintenance of the content used on Permobil Academy – Online learning program
  • Working collaboratively with other Regional Clinical Services Teams and APAC Clinical services team to develop relevant content for Academy/ Blogs etc.
  • Regular communication and co-ordination with Permobil Scientific & Medical affairs team
  • Development of Clinical Education annual plan to support country strategies and in conjunction with regional marketing colleagues and clinical services team.
  • Identify case studies across all portfolios and countries.
  • Identify facilities and organizations throughout the region where collaborative research can be undertaken. Work with Clinical Services colleagues to broaden their existing skillset and knowledge regarding prescribing complex assistive technology to meet clinical outcomes
  • Assist in developing clinical education modules that can be delivered by self and others directly and by others via different modes (direct, on-line, webinars).
  • Providing relevant clinical advice on Permobil products and equipment, to staff, users, clinicians, dealers/distributors, carer's, etc.
  • Preparation of submissions to major significant conferences
  • Input to Regional Product Management and Marketing team for campaigns and launches
  • Contribute to Projects, Country/Regional/Global as they arise
  • Any other reasonable duties that are requested.

Your Background

Preferably OT or PT qualified, or clinical qualifications, further to this the below experience and skillset is highly desirable for the success in this role:

  • Ability to collaborate across the region and be able to accommodate differences in culture and language

  • Frequent customer and therapist contact
  • High level of detail and accuracy
  • High level of communication skills internally and externally
  • Specialist industry product knowledge

  • Comfortable giving Clinical and Scientific presentations
  • Ability to teach co-workers and outside organizations the skills in prescribing complex assistive technology
  • Ability to think strategically in order to broaden the scope and influence of Clinical education.
  • The ability to travel internationally
