About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional General Manager to lead our operations in NSW & ACT. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with our Director - Moving Services to develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the region.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the annual business plan and budget to meet financial targets and drive business growth.
  • Performance Management: Develop and oversee performance metrics, workforce plans, and resource requirements to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Motivate and manage a large team, including recruitment and termination processes, to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforce.
  • Business Development: Direct regional sales efforts, achieve revenue targets, and support corporate development plans to drive business growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Analyze operational performance, develop strategies for improvement, and ensure compliance with all standards to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety legislation, Customs, Biosecurity, and employment laws to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Risk Management: Prepare annual risk management profiles and implement necessary actions to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Regional General Manager who has:

  • Extensive experience in managing large multi-site teams and achieving business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in managing P&L and business plans.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with a focus on integrity and employee engagement.
  • A solid understanding of market dynamics and performance measurement.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and within a team environment.
