Accounts Assistant Role
This is a part time position (up to 22.5 hours) for an on-site Accounts Assistant located in Moorebank Sydney.

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day administrative and bookkeeping tasks including but not limited to:

  • Data entry in Xero, invoicing and billing (AC Payable & AC Receivable)
  • Allocation and reconciliation of payments
  • Respond to customer queries
  • Regularly review debtor accounts and diligently monitor outstanding balances, and proactively pursue overdue payments
  • Approving timesheets and process payroll with the assistance of the Finance Manager
  • Submitting NDIS and Medicare Claims
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Other Ad hoc tasks
  • Assist Administration team when required
The Accounts Assistant will support the Finance Manager in providing timely and accurate financial information to management.

Skills and Experience:

  • XERO experience or other similar preferred (training will be provided if required)
  • Payroll experience beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • A certificate or qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping or Finance would be beneficial
  • Proactive attitude to learning and improving business processes
