Accounts Assistant Role
This is a part time position (up to 22.5 hours) for an on-site Accounts Assistant located in Moorebank Sydney.
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day administrative and bookkeeping tasks including but not limited to:
- Data entry in Xero, invoicing and billing (AC Payable & AC Receivable)
- Allocation and reconciliation of payments
- Respond to customer queries
- Regularly review debtor accounts and diligently monitor outstanding balances, and proactively pursue overdue payments
- Approving timesheets and process payroll with the assistance of the Finance Manager
- Submitting NDIS and Medicare Claims
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Other Ad hoc tasks
- Assist Administration team when required
Skills and Experience:
- XERO experience or other similar preferred (training will be provided if required)
- Payroll experience beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- A certificate or qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping or Finance would be beneficial
- Proactive attitude to learning and improving business processes
