Job detail: Senior Communication Specialist

Bring your established skills and experience with multi-channel communications to the rewarding disability industry and make a difference.

You will play a key leading role in campaign and content planning, including supporting communications activities for key projects.

Thinking creatively about content ideas and using planning tools to keep track of new story opportunities from ideas stage through to development make up the fundamental of this role as does;

  • Playing an active role in overall communications and content planning for the team.
  • Planning and schedule stories and content for communications channels.
  • Ensuring activities to promote Northcott services are delivered in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Working collaboratively with Enquiries and Sales teams to plan and develop sales collateral. achieve targets and KPIs
  • Responding to requests for communications support from internal departments.
  • Reporting on the effectiveness of messages and channels on an ongoing basis.
  • Contributing regularly to the ongoing communications content schedule.

This role will also guide a Communications Specialists in channel planning with the aim of maximising the reach and value across multiple internal channels including email newsletters, campaigns and social media.

Previous skills, experience and attribute wise we see you as having:

  • Tertiary qualifications in communication or similar degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a marketing or communications role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with MS Windows/MS Office Applications
  • Experience with online planning and project management tools such as
  • Experience with digital content systems and tools such as website, social media and email marketing platforms.
