As one of our highly valued Educators, you'll support and guide children's learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.
At C&K Queens Beach Community Childcare Centre, we welcome children from 3 to 5 years of age and provide care and early learning five days a week from 8:20am to 2:20pm.
C&K Queens Beach has a large open planned building, comprising of three rooms. Our surroundings consist of large natural play spaces including trees, scrubs, a large sandpit. We encourage the native wildlife with bird feeders and have our own stingless native bees in the vegetable garden.
Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you'll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and our wider community.
What you'll bring
Whether you're an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you're energetic, fun and committed to guiding children's early learning and development, we'll set you up for success
To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:
A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards this qualification. First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification. Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (issued within the last three months) or willing to obtain these.You will bring a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families and the community alongside a team-player mindset - when you join C&K, you join a village of good-hearted, talented people, so you can lean on them as they lean on you.
