Technical Advisor Role

Our client, a successful multi-franchised dealership in the Whitsundays region of Queensland, is seeking a skilled Technical Advisor to join their team. This semi-productive role will be based in the charming town of Proserpine, just 20 minutes inland from Airlie Beach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical advice to customers on vehicle issues
  • Mentor and train workshop staff to ensure high-quality service
  • Produce accurate repair orders and attend technical training sessions
  • Work closely with the Service Manager and workshop team to meet time constraints
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
  • Assist technicians with technical issues and order parts as needed
  • Handle customer complaints and promote a safe work environment
  • Ensure warranty requirements are met

Requirements:

  • Trade-qualified Automotive Technician with strong dealership experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy and ability to multitask
  • Strong mechanical abilities and ability to train and mentor staff
