About the role


This role is an afterhours role, which has rostered shifts over a 3 weekly rotating roster with a mixture of weekday night, weekend day and weekend night shifts.

Part time role (0.6 EFT).

Annual salary of $82,043 (pro rata) + super + salary packaging.

Desired Skills and Experience:

About you

  • Tertiary qualification/s and/or relevant experience in field.
  • Demonstrated practice skills and commitment to working as part of a team to support participants within a residential environment.
  • Demonstrated practice skills and experience in working effectively with young people who may present with substance use, mental health diagnosis and/ or symptomology, violent or aggressive behaviours and other complex issues associated with offending behaviours.
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills, including maintaining a highlevel objectivity and capacity to work with participants who present with challenging behaviours.
  • Demonstrated awareness and understanding of the issues that participants experience, i.e., institutionalization and/ or have had contact with the criminal justice system.

About the program:

Dillon House
Dillon House provides residential 24/7 supported accommodation for three young people aged between 16-24, who lack skills to reside in independent accommodation or who exhibit behaviour (i.e. high-risk drug use) which would place them at risk in independent accommodation.

Dillon House offers a safe and welcoming home where participants are supported to develop independent living skills including cooking, meal planning, shopping, budgeting, and banking.
