About the role

We are looking for a candidate for a 12-month contract in the Intensive Support Worker position at Dillon House and Next Steps. This role involves:

  • Supporting participants with complex needs related to the criminal justice and homelessness systems.
  • Aiding participants in reducing the risk of homelessness and reoffending through engaging activities.
  • Assisting participants in addressing underlying factors contributing to their situations.

About the program

Next Steps is a program funded by the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing that provides intensive case management support to vulnerable young people involved in the justice systems. The program focuses on addressing homelessness and offending behaviors through a relational and supportive approach.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Relevant qualifications or experience
  2. Experience in case management
  3. Ability to collaborate across disciplines
  4. Knowledge of homelessness services
