About the Role:


This role is perfect for someone with a
person-centred approach, who has a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with physical or intellectual disability, who enjoys a challenge, and enjoys the rewarding feeling of
making a difference in someone's life.

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for
a child requiring support within the home involving Community Access.

Shifts available:
Monday to Friday 8am - 10am

Positions may be available in surrounding suburbs.

Pay rate Minimum starting rate is $38.17 per hour, plus allowances for evenings, weekends and public holidays (based on qualifications and experience).

Skills and Experience:

Experience and/or qualifications in Individual Support, Disability Support, Aged Care or equivalent (_students currently studying in these areas, as well as Nursing, Physio Therapy, OT and Paramedicine also encouraged to apply_)

  • Active with average physical fitness level
  • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of people's individual support needs

Requirements:

  • Current resume and 2 professional referees
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employer)
  • Current driver license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011/HLTAID003) & CPR (HLTAID009/HLTAID001)
