Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join the Volaris Group in Australia. In this role, you will provide a variety of HR support services to our team members, including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance with Australian workplace regulations. You will partner with internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and programs, and you will play a key role in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations issues, following Australian fair work guidelines for performance management, leave of absence, and terminations
  • Assist with all aspects of the recruitment process, adhering to Australian recruitment practices, including job posting on Australian job boards, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer negotiation
  • Onboard new hires, ensuring they have the information and resources they need to be successful in accordance with Australian regulations
  • Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with Australian superannuation and leave entitlements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Australian federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in accordance with Australian privacy laws
  • Provide general HR support to staff and managers
  • Stay up-to-date on Australian HR trends and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a generalist HR role (Preferred 5+ years of experience)
  • 2-3 years of International HR Experience (India) preferred
  • Strong understanding of Australian HR principles, legislation and employment practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
