THE OPPORTUNITY


In this exciting opportunity, the successful incumbent of this Compliance Lead role, will be working closely with Coles retail brands to arrange, manage and maintain an up-to-date register of compliance requirements and documents across all necessary compliance areas, including any annual essential service audits as required.


Your responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain an uptodate register of compliance items (e.g. OH&S certifications/ inspections, asset registrations, etc.) in accordance with City's and Coles requirement, authorities and legal requirements.
  • Support and maintain equipment registrations and licensing.
  • Distribute information as required to lessors, internal teams and Coles teams.
  • Liaise with landlords and their consultants in order to assist with annual essential services certification.
  • Engage and manage thirdparty subcontractors to carry out the necessary works if required.
  • Provide administrative support as required within the asset and PPM workload.
  • Support internal audits, training sessions and mentoring on all thing's compliance.

You will be required to have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Asset Maintenance, Engineering, Finance (or similar)
  • highly preferred
  • A track record in a similar role, ideally in demanding and complex environments.
  • Background in office administration is essential ideally within a Facilities Management context.
  • Must have advanced Excel skills.
  • Ideally previous experience in management of essential services compliance.
  • A Cando attitude and inquisitive mindset.
  • Strong customer relation skills with total commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
