The Company:

_Our client is a leader in their field of retail and commercial property management seeking an outstanding Centre Manager to lead a sub-regional Centre in Melbourne's South-eastern suburbs. Responsibilities:

Your key duties will include:

Team Leadership:
Inspiring and leading a newly created team to ensure customer satisfaction, profitability and great presentation of the centre.

Tenant Relations:
Establish and maintain positive relationships with tenants, ensuring their needs and issues are addressed promptly. Act as the main point of contact for tenant inquiries, concerns, and lease negotiations.

Lease Administration:
Manage lease agreements, including lease renewals, rent collection, and compliance. Conduct regular lease audits and ensure all lease documentation is accurate and current.

Budgeting and Financial Management:
Develop and manage the property's annual operating budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures. Prepare regular financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Marketing and Promotion:
Sign-off on marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and events to drive foot traffic and increase occupancy rates.

Facilities Management:
work with the Facilities Manager to source, negotiate, and manage contracts with service providers, contractors, and vendors. Ensure they deliver high-quality services within budget and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Risk Management and Compliance:
Ensure the property meets all legal, health, and safety requirements. Conduct regular risk assessments, implement emergency response plans, and promptly address compliance issues.

Team Leadership:
Supervise and provide guidance to a team of property management staff, including hiring, training, and performance management. Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Centre Manager or similar role within a property agency or commercial property management.
  • Indepth knowledge of property management principles, lease administration, maintenance, and financial management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies to maximize occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations in property management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A proactive and resultsoriented mindset with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
