This Commercial and Contracts opportunity will be responsible for encompassing both client and supply side commercial and contract management.

What you will bring:

  • 23 years experience in a finance/management accounting role
  • Previous experience in the resources, mining, energy, or engineering services sectors advantageous but not essential.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or a related field.
  • Sound understanding of risk management and financial analysis practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Relevant management accounting and/or previous commercial advisory experience
  • Ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders including clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks and develop technical skills within the role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Participate in pricing and estimate development and reviews
  • Support negotiation of contract terms and conditions with suppliers/subcontractors
  • Participation in performance management processes with key suppliers
  • Data management, financial analysis and contract administration across both client and supplier contracts
  • Prepare postproject financial performance analysis, identify opportunities, develop recommendations
  • Support the leadership team and internal stakeholders on a daily basis with contract management, interpretation, financial and commercial analysis and advice.
  • Participation in clientside tender reviews, preparation and drafting of tender responses, drafting of commercial handover documents
