YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Internal Controls APAC, the key deliverables for this role are:

  • Support on the maintenance of Risk and Controls Matrix, (RACM) controls testing and coordination of risk and controls self-assessments including some IT General Controls
  • Support APAC Finance to update policies and procedures in line with controls objectives in Bunzl Controls Framework.
  • Support the ongoing training and development support for BU IC process owners, especially during rollout of new control requirements and PLC requests.
  • Coordinate Group risk and compliance reporting requests from the BUs for review prior to submission to headquarters
  • Monitor and proactively followup with the management on remediation progress of agreed actions for control gaps ensure they are timely remediated. Provide guidance and hands on support when necessary.
  • Involvement in projects and ad hoc activities to standardise and simplify end to end finance processes resulting in continuous improvement of administrative efficiencies, as well as the effectiveness of the control environment

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 4 years' recent working experience in a similar role, preferably with a large complex organisation or Big4 first mover in risk advisory & audit, finance governance, Sox controls compliance equivalent exposure
  • IT General Controls and working controls knowledge of Management Review Controls and Information Produced by Entities are preferred
  • Intermediate MS Office program skills (MS Excel, Ms. PowerPoint, MS Visio)
  • Deadlines driven
  • A good team player
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills
