About The Role

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for the coordination and accurate upkeep of the shipping schedule.
  • Liaise with mine site personnel, customers and thirdparty providers regarding coal availability, shipment timing, and laycan / vessel nominations.
  • Attend meetings, prepare relevant information, and effectively present findings.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Logistics team, ensuring clear communication and effective teamwork to achieve common goals.
  • Assist with quality management by monitoring and resolving coal quality issues as well as vessel certification to ensure that contract specifications are delivered to our customers
What You'll Bring

  • Experience within the coal industry or related sectors.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and business drivers.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong and trusted relationships internally and externally.
  • An understanding of business operations and the ability to make sound business decisions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong PC skills in Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in PowerBI is highly desirable.
