What's the job?

Day-to-day accountabilities:

  • Teach small or large, blended/hybrid and or/online classes, as well as monitor and ensure participation
  • Prepare and review teaching materials and make any recommendations necessary as per University policy and procedures-
  • Utilise learning technology effectively
  • Engage in student centered learning and teaching practices including, but not limited to, flipped learning, maintaining an active and positive education experience-
  • Ensure the learning experience complies with the strategic goals of the University; for example: industry immersion, student employability and authentic experiences

We have 3 Casual positions available based in Surry Hills Sydney, Flinders Street Melbourne and Gotha Street, Brisbane.

Who you are

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and commitment to continuous professional development
  • Ability to work competently and harmoniously with colleagues and students of all cultures and backgrounds
  • Computer literacy in appropriate discipline
  • specific and learning technologies as per business requirements
  • High service ethos and work commitment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A degree in Naturopathy and/or Western Herbal Medicine;
  • A higher degree (level 8-10) in a related field;
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience within professional practice;Why join us?
