Support comes in many different forms, such as donations to our emergency appeals, regular giving, community fundraising events, major gifts, and corporate partnerships.

Australian gifts provide life-saving aid to civilians fleeing the frontlines of conflict. They also support longer-term projects in healthcare, education, and livelihoods.

Role Summary and Responsibilities:

***Reporting to the Senior Donor Care Representative, the Donor Care Representative will work within the Donor Care team to achieve fundraising targets by providing a positive donor experience and processing donations and updating records inthe donor database.


In this exciting role, you will focus on data processing in the CRM (Raiser's Edge), including single gift and recurring donations, banking and issuing donation receipts.

You will also provide strong customer service to Australia for UNHCR's donors and supporters.

  • Be the first point of contact for data entry including batching offline donations, issuing tax receipts and updating change of details enquiries
  • Update donor records and enter all interactions onto the CRM database
  • Provide exceptional resolution skills whilst responding to enquiries from donors
  • Process donations and manage complaints and refunds
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors, and other external stakeholders as needed

Essential criteria:

You will be proactive, positive, and have a flair for high volume data entry.

  • Experience with Raiser's Edge database or a similar platform including Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or ThankQ
  • Excellent customer service and relationshipbuilding capabilities
  • A positive, energetic, and empathetic nature
  • Firstclass written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a closeknit team, with the skills to work autonomously when needed
  • Excellent multitasking, time management and organisational skills, without losing accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to complete tasks within set KPIs
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
