About the role

This role assists the Manager, Workplace Relations in the provision of workplace and industrial relations services across Metro North Health (MNH).

The position enables consistency of practice and provides high level specialist advice.

The position is also responsible for providing specialist advice on industrial relations, complex case management, human resource policy and industrial framework and employment advice and support to organisational stakeholders.

This role will be expected to represent MNH as an industrial advocate within a variety of forums including the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission and the Queensland Human Rights Commission.

The role will be responsible for developing detailed submissions and briefing and working closely with the Manager Workplace Relations to recommend to the Director Workplace Relations appropriate strategies for successful and timely resolution of complex industrial matters.
