About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader Youth Services the core responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and provide quality outcomes for key youth projects and initiatives including, but not limited to:
  • Schoolies
  • Data Collection and Evaluation
  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Child Safety
  • Build and maintain relationships with the youth service sector and key stakeholders
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement through adherence to recognized systems, evidencebased principles and the voice of young people, community, and Council.

About You

  • Bachelor Qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, Community Development, Social Science, or related field.
  • Relevant Local Government experience is desirable
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in coordination of high functioning and diverse teams and program
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and complete tasks/projects to a high standard and within acceptable timeframes
  • Understanding of and commitment to the Victorian Child Safe Standards
  • Strong competency in developing and coordinating projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with key partners to achieve great outcomes for young people.
