Their team is devoted to innovation, excellence, and ensuring client satisfaction. They are currently in search of a proactive and meticulous National Bid Coordinator to become part of their team and contribute significantly to their growth and achievements.

Position Overview: The key role of the National Bid Coordinator is to oversee and manage the bidding processes for large-scale commercial fit-out projects throughout the country. This position entails close collaboration with different departments such as sales, project management, and design to guarantee the punctual and precise submission of bids and proposals. The ideal candidate should possess a solid grasp of the commercial fit-out industry, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure to meet stringent deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Bid Management: Supervise the entire bidding process from the initial inquiry to the final submission, ensuring all deadlines are adhered to.
  • Coordination: Cooperate with internal teams (sales, project management, design, and finance) to collect essential information and create comprehensive bid proposals.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review bid documents, ensuring they comply with the required standards and specifications.
  • Quality Control: Verify that all bid submissions are precise, complete, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Client Interaction: Sustain communication with clients throughout the bidding process to clarify requirements and offer updates.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on potential projects, industry trends, and competitor analysis to shape bid strategies.
  • Compliance: Guarantee all bids meet legal, safety, and industry standards.
  • Reporting: Maintain precise records of all bidding activities and deliver regular updates and reports to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for enhancement in the bidding process and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in bid coordination, preferably within the construction or commercial fit-out sector.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Attention to detail and the capability to deliver high-quality work under tough deadlines.
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and bid management software.
    • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the commercial fit-out and construction industry, inclusive of major players, market trends, and project lifecycle.
