Growth Marketer

We're looking for a motivated, go-getter with growth marketing experience who is passionate about making positive change to support First Nations women, Black Women and Women of Colour.
Key points
- Fourdays a week, immediate start, ending early December, with possibility of transitioning to ongoing role for the right person
- Interviews commence from Friday 12 May 2023.
We work across two distinct projects and your role would be to ensure increased community engagement and retention across both projects.

About the role:
Selection criteria:
- 2+ years of growth marketing experience
- Demonstrated ability to lift organisational marketing performance (including acquisition and retention of leads) through effective digital and growth marketing activities
- 2+ years of program or management/coordination experience delivering successful results
- 1+ years of reporting, monitoring and evaluation experience delivering successful results.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and visualise data (including strong spreadsheet skills) as well as impactbased storytelling. In other words, you know how to tell a powerful and convincing story using quantitative and qualitative data.
- 2+ years of experience managing staff successfully, driving team productivity
Desirable criteria:
- Lived experience (expertise) as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Black and / or Woman of Colour and intercultural competency (strongly favoured)
- Able to demonstrate you have an understanding that systemic change takes effort, so resilience is highly regarded in this role
- Startup experience, at least 2 years experience working at an early stage organisation as one of the first 5 to 10 people on the team and successfully supporting the maturity of the organisation
- You have already founded or worked at a tech startup with over 2 years of experience where you led or supported the development of the startup
- You have demonstrated experience working with startup programs and/or mental health & wellbeing programs, with high impact results
Deliverables and responsibilities
- Developing, experimenting and improving on marketing strategies and plans through creative tactics (on the most effective platforms) to achieve growth marketing goals
- In addition to working independently, also liaising with the team and their "customers" to develop content about our different projects
- Manage freelancers delivering outputs to help you achieve growth marketing goals (including event producers who organise events to support our acquisition / retention goals)
- Establish and document an efficient growth marketing system and train others how to use it, where necessary
- Respond to and action feedback promptly to ensure improvements are being made to close any gaps impacting (growth marketing) operations, driving continuous improvement
- Time permitting document marketing operations processes and requirements in order to drive transition away from our current marketing software to a more cost effective alternative
