Seeking a Credit & Collections Officer to assist in managing the credit and collections process within a leading Media organisation.

You will be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness, establishing credit limits, collecting outstanding payments, and maintaining positive relationships with customers.

Your day-to-day:

  • Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information
  • Determine appropriate credit limits based on risk assessment and company guidelines
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely and accurate payment collection
  • Contact customers to address overdue payments, resolve disputes, and negotiate payment plans
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or billing issues, working closely with the sales and customer service teams
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of customer interactions, payment history, and collection efforts
  • Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to develop and implement credit and collection strategies
  • Provide regular reports on collection activities, delinquency rates, and customer credit profiles

Who you are:

  • SAP experience is highly desirable for this role
  • Experience in an FMCG or fastpaced environment desirable
  • Proven experience in credit analysis, collections, or a similar role
