As a Credit Officer at SG Fleet, you will play a critical role in assessing and decisioning credit applications for employees within our client base. This position requires a strong understanding of credit frameworks and policies, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities- On-board new clients as per approved policies
- Build relationships with internal customers to support their understanding of the credit decision process
- Provide exceptional customer service to all enquiries
- Ensure all credit applications are assessed in line with the group credit policy
- Approve credit applications as per delegated authority
- Document processes within the SG Fleet process mapping system when and where required
- Undertake manual KYC customer verification when and where required
- A sound understanding and demonstrated experience with credit frameworks and policies
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic credit underwriting skills
- Working knowledge of legal documentation and applicable legal business codes
- Strong technical/numerical skills including critical analysis and problem solving
- Effective communicator both verbally and in writing professionally
- Strong adherence to processes
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload appropriately
- An understanding of business acumen and commercial awareness
