YMCA Brisbane is a trusted Not-For-Profit Organisation supporting families and children for over 150 years.

Our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program, with more than 50 services across Queensland, provide fun, meaningful, stimulating and safe care for primary and secondary children before and after school.


This rare and rewarding key position will be base at our office in Stafford, reporting into the Office Manager, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial administrative support and management of Debtors and Creditors account.


This position is a Full-Time position, 38 hours a week.

As an Account Receivable Officer your duties will include:

  • Accurately managing Debtors and Creditors using the Child Care Management System (QIKKIDS and StoryPark Manage)
  • Accurately managing each family's file within the system above in relation to enrolment arrangements, compliant booking and action any Government subsidized care for those who are eligible
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, internally and externally relating to Centrelink and CCS troubleshooting
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports and attendances to the appropriate government bodies
  • Manage and monitor payment summaries of Debtors and action accordingly to the the YMCA's policies and procedures
  • Record keeping on any transactions for each services as well as monthly reports
  • Effectively managing any invoice that has been raised and liaising with the appropriate department for further processing or reconciliation

To be considered for this position, you must have the following:

  • Must have sound Accounts Receivable or Administrator type experience in a child care or OSHC setting
  • A relevant qualification in business at a Certificate level
  • High computer literacy in Microsoft suites
  • Highly organized and effective with time management
  • Familiar with the software QIKKIDS or StoryPark Manage or similar
  • Practical and through knowledge Family Assistance Law and Child Care Subsidy claims
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as professional interpersonal skills
  • Currently possess, or be willing to obtain, a positive notice Blue Card in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000

Remuneration & Benefits:

Pay rate will be in accordance to the Clerks Industry Award 2010.
