Our client is a global organisation in the manufacturing industry and are seeking an experienced AP Officer to join their large A&F team on full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise authorisation of Purchase Orders in Oracle for all purchases and allocating the appropriate GL account code
- Process POs by receipting and matching vendor invoices
- Charge expenses to appropriate GL accounts and cost centres by analysing invoice/expense reports; recording entries
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and any other issues
- Correspond with vendors and respond to their inquiries, if any
- On a weekly basis prepare and process payments to vendors on the due dates for payments. In addition, process advance payments as and when required
- Process employee payments for reimbursement
- Prepare journals to post transactions to GL
- Verify major vendor accounts by reconciling transactions from their monthly statements
- At month end ensuring that Accounts payables are reconciled and closed by the last working day of the month
- Estimating Accrued expenses at month end and recording transactions
- Expense management
- Estimating AP related cash outflows for monthly reporting of cashflow to HQ
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in an end to end AP role
- Experience from a high volume environment and adaptability
- Software: Excel and Oracle experience preferred
- Energetic personality and ability to hit the ground running
