We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our dynamic team at Seed Heritage. As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the sundry creditor ledger, processing invoices in a timely manner, and actioning vendor payments within terms.
Key Responsibilities- Process all international and local payments while working to deadlines and vendor payment timelines.
- Ensure all purchase orders are approved for received invoices.
- Liaise with creditors regarding discrepancies and conduct investigations accordingly.
- Reconcile aged trial balance to be provided to the Team Leader at the end of each month.
- Maintain subsidiary ledger.
- Perform any other duties as required.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in accounting.
- 2 years experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably in the retail industry.
- Ability to reconcile statements to trial balance.
- Ability to manage and prioritize time according to business requirements while being highly proactive to resolve matters within timeframes.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 preferable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organization skills and time management abilities.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
