This is your chance to contribute to an organisation - which focuses on its people and culture, providing guidance and insights to help stakeholders and managers make informed decisions whilst ensuring the effective ongoing operation of remuneration and risk activities.


In this crucial role, you will work on the design and implementation of our 1st line Risk and Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) deliverables.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on the design and implementation of FAR.
  • Supporting in the work for annual remuneration disclosures including the IFL Remuneration Report and RSE Disclosures.
  • Leading the development and operationalisation of the Line 1 activities within P&C.
  • Developing new processes, tools and frameworks to 'bring to life' the Line 1 risk team for P&C that are aligned to Group Risk Management frameworks and policies.
  • Educating P&C team on the requirements of a Line 1 risk team and how we work together as a function to drive risk initiatives.
  • Working closely with line 2 and line 3 risk teams to ensure all internal/external risk and compliance requirements are met for the People team.
  • Supporting People & Risk Governance Specialist in conducting the line 1 risk administrative processes.

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:

  • Understanding of the CPS511 remuneration governance requirements
  • Understanding of the Financial Accountability (or previous BEAR) obligations
  • Understanding of all core risk management processes and frameworks (i.e. risk profiling, controls management/testing; obligations review)
  • Knowledge of the 3 lines of defence within Risk and the linkages between line 1, line 2 and line 3 teams
  • Experience in setting up frameworks and processes for newly established line 1 risk teams (preferably in a functional area
  • P&C)
  • Previous experience in preparing annual remuneration disclosures for ASX companies
