About the role:
Our client is seeking a Packaging Quality Technologist to provide support for the release of incoming packaging to be used in production. We are looking for switched on candidates with previous FMCG experience and/or qualifications in a scientific field (e.g. Engineering, Chemistry etc.) to work within a warehouse environment to assist the quality team.

Responsibilities include:

  • In-depth inspections of incoming packaging
  • Liaise with suppliers in regards to packaging queries
  • Investigate and raise non-conformances with supplier in relation to packaging issues
  • Ensuring warehouse stock system is correct and up to date

This role would be ideal for someone with great attention to detail and eager on gaining further Quality Control experience within a reputable FMCG manufacturer.

Skills & experience:

  • Experience in a QC, warehouse or admin role within an FMCG facility is a requirement for this role
  • Qualifications in a Science related subject highly regarded
  • Attention to detail and strong computer literacy
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Ability to work in a team, being able to balance tasks and priorities
