Your role


The Compulsory Drug Treatment Correctional Centre (CDTCC) requires a highly motivated and dynamic Services and Programs - Team Leader to join their team.


In this role, you will be largely responsible for contributing to and maintaining a therapeutic environment providing intensive treatment to drug related offenders, whilst promoting community reintegration.

Reporting to a multidisciplinary management team, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Co-ordination of Drug Court referrals and liaison between Drug Court of NSW, Justice Health and Corrective Services NSW
  • Support the culture of the program in accord with therapeutic models of human rights frameworks and offender rehabilitation
  • Establishing strong relationships with community service providers and developing and maintaining partnerships to support community reintegration
  • Direct line management of five Services and Programs Officers, including Human Resource related functions and entry of data to departmental systems
  • Deliver accredited and approved programs and provide intensive case management for participants within the CDTCC as required
  • A current driver's licence is an essential requirement.

What we're looking for


Your proven knowledge and experience working with a client group presenting with Severe Substance Use Disorder is required to meet the demands of this role effectively.


You will be a self-motivated, strong leader who engages in self-reflective practice, and leads by example with excellent communication and time management skills, in addition to having the ability to manage a small team whilst multi-tasking and prioritising a high workload.


Resilience, outstanding attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work under pressure are key attributes to succeed in this fast paced role.

While you will be a team player, you are also able to complete tasks independently. Your professionalism is paramount given the unique collaborative aspects of this role.
