You're a highly motivated SaaS sales professional with a proven track record of success in closing deals in the Public Sector.
You're an expert at building long term customer relationships that support the ambitious growth plans of Dataminr in Australia and the region.
As an Account Executive, you will hold your own sales quota and focus on new clients and generating business within your territory.
Your territory is a mix of federal, state and local government clients who can benefit from Dataminr's world leading AI.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop, and support a portfolio of highprofile accounts with a focus on market entry and sales opportunities including upsell and expansion options with your existing accounts
- Be an expert on Dataminr's platform and develop a deep understanding of publicly available information and social media analytics use cases to deliver standout demonstrations
- Understand each customer's mission and operational process in order to design and implement the programs that seamlessly integrate Dataminr into their workflow
- Develop an understanding of customer use cases, internal decision making nuances, budget cycles and other key information necessary to win new business
- Partner with cross company teams to drive product adoption, renewal and customer satisfaction by bringing value to our customers every day
- Attend various industry events, trade shows and focused symposiums to drive uptake by new clients and expansion/upsells, increase brand awareness and value proposition
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in a related field
- 5+ years of enterprise software or SaaS customer success management or account executive experience with a demonstrated track record of sales
- Experience selling technology solutions to public sector clients
- Deep understanding of sales process and business drivers for new clients
- Superior communication and presentation skills, with an emphasis on communicating both orally and in writing with senior leaders and decision makers
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Must be willing and able to travel (domestically and internationally) as needed, approx. 2550% of the time on a quarterly basis
