Your Opportunity:

  • Attraction & Recruitment: Oversee frontline talent acquisition to meet staffing needs while following company guidelines.
  • Culture and Engagement: Initiate and drive a positive culture through engagement, reward and recognition initiatives.
  • Learning and Development: Bring to life signature Sofitel brand programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Industrial Relations: Assist the T&C Manager in developing and maintaining a stable working environment following the guidelines outlined in the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and Industry Awards, where applicable.
  • Talent and Culture Metrics: Prepare reports and complete checklists as required.
  • General Talent and Culture Duties: Act as the first point of contact, providing on-going support to colleagues on T&C related matters, policies and procedures.
  • Workplace Health and Safety (WHS): Ensure health, safety and welfare of all team members is provided through implementation of Accor Health and Safety initiatives and assist in the effective operation of the WH&S Committee.
Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Qualification in Human Resources, Business or similar, or relevant experience
  • Ability to engage well with others, display empathy and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt communication types and build relationships within the Hotel
  • Have the drive, discipline and resourcefulness to work independently
  • Sound knowledge of HR processes, including some IR legislation (FairWork, NES)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
