**About Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3**:
Gold Coast Light Rail has transformed public transport on the Gold Coast, helping create an integrated network that connects more people to more places in one of Australia's most dynamic and fastest growing cities.

John Holland is GoldlinQ's nominated design and construction contractor for GCLR3, to extend the existing light rail network by 6.7kms from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads, including eight new light rail stations, two new light rail-bus connections, and intersection upgrades along the alignment.

Jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments, and the City of Gold Coast, this city-shaping project will link communities to business centres, shopping, dining, education and medical facilities and cater to the Gold Coast's expected population growth in the coming decades.

As construction of GCLR3 gets under way, John Holland is actively recruiting for a talented and driven Communications and Stakeholder Support Officer to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this iconic Gold Coast project.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Work to become an on-the-ground Communications and Engagement specialist
- General communications and media relations
- Provide support to the digital and creative teams
- Work closely with the delivery team to develop then implement site-specific Communication Action Plans
- Manage complaints in line with agreed timeframes
- Become a direct liaison about project construction activities with the general public
- Participate in the 24/7 community contact roster
- Develop supporting graphics and visual materials for major events
- Provide generalist communications support to the project

**To be successful in this key role, you must have**:

- Previous experience working in a similar role, delivering major infrastructure projects
- Willing and able to commit to supporting the teams 24/7 community contact line
