We have a part-time opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer to join our team to support the day-to-day operational administration and accounts, working together with our team to secure the efficient and positive growth of the company.

This role is to support the full-time Financial Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative support functions.
  • Data entry for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Generation of purchase orders.
  • Preparation of EFT payment runs (weekly and adhoc).
  • Processing of all payments and receipts.
  • Data entry and reconciliation of company credit cards.
  • Assistance in endofmonth processes.
  • Perform daily bank, and credit card reconciliations and generate debtors' reports.
  • Assist in financial data entry, including expense tracking and reconciliations.
  • Maintain organised financial records and documentation.
  • Respond to internal financial inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Assisting in phone answering duties.
  • Fulfilling other duties as directed by the Financial Administrator.
  • Completion of endtoend payroll processes.
  • Involvement in the monthend process as required.
  • Continuous Improvement: have input into defining and automating our processes.
  • Get paid for higher duties when covering the fulltime Financial Administrator's leave.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following attributes

  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Focus on meeting deadlines and achieving results.
  • Knowledge of Xero and Eclipse is preferable.
  • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of accounts administration.
  • Organisational Skills: effectively manage tasks and time, prioritising accordingly.
  • Proactive: taking initiative to address tasks and challenges.
  • Team Player: enjoys and thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Relationship Building: strong people skills and ability to build relationships with our team members and customers.
  • Adaptable: interested in growing and learning as our business processes change.

The Details

Hours: Part-time, 3 days (Tuesday-Thursday) per week.

Location: Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. To be considered, you must have permanent rights to work in Australia.

Salary: $80,000 pro rata.

Commencement: Immediate start.
